About the Corgi
Corgis are bright, affectionate little herding dogs with much bigger-dog personalities. They're usually happiest when they're included in family life and given regular walks, play and something interesting to think about. Their compact size can suit smaller homes, but they are not a low-effort breed: they can be energetic, vocal and determined, and their intelligence benefits from consistent positive training. Their double coat also sheds, so regular brushing is part of the bargain. A Corgi can be a wonderful match for someone who wants a sociable, trainable companion with plenty of character and is ready to give a small dog a properly active life.
